Faroese banknotes

It is possible to supply collectors with Faroese banknotes using the same method as the Royal Danish Mint uses for selling coins.

Sale to collectors
The Royal Danish Mint is offering collectors Faroese 50-krone, 100-krone, 200-krone, 500-krone and 1000-krone banknotes.

The banknotes will be supplied individually in acid-free plastic pockets. Each pocket will also include the description of the relevant banknote that was distributed when the banknote was first issued.

The primary motifs on the face of the banknotes are fragments of Faroese animals, while the reverse sides show landscapes from different parts of the Islands.

Sold at nominal value
The banknotes are sold at their nominal value. However, as considerable administration is involved, a handling fee of kr. 200 including VAT will be charged per order.

Orders are limited to a maximum of 10 banknotes. To this should be added the usual postage for deliveries from the Royal Danish Mint.
