The Fairy Tale Coin Set 2005-2007
In connection with the issue of the final fairy tale coin, a coin set comprising all five coins in the series, minted in the extra-fine BU quality, was issued on 25 October 2007. The coins in the set are uncirculated and minted with two strokes instead of one.
The medal - portrait of H. C. Andersen
In addition to the five 10-krone coins, the coin set includes a special medal. The obverse shows a heart under a crown, the mint mark of the Royal Danish Mint. This motif is used on the medals in the annual coin sets.
The reverse of the medal shows a portrait of Hans Christian Andersen by the medallist Frode Bahnsen, who worked at the Royal Danish Mint from 1948 until his death in 1983.
The coins are minted with two strokes. This is one stroke more than the coins in circulation. The more strokes, the more distinct the embossment.
