Nólsoy Lighthouse

On 15 September 2005, the seventh in its series of thematic coins with towers as the common theme was put into circulation.

The motif of Nólsoy Lighthouse in the Faroe Islands was designed by the Faroese sculptor Hans Pauli Olsen, who also designed the motifs for the Christiansborg Palace Tower coin in 2003 and The Ugly Duckling coin in 2005.
